The Town 34718 is an 18 Cantonese-style wok built for the rigors of high-volume commercial kitchens. Crafted from 18-gauge (1.25 mm) cold-forged carbon steel using a traditional hand-hammered technique, it delivers excellent heat responsiveness and lasting durability. The rounded bottom and steep sides promote rapid, even heat distribution ideal for stir-frying, steaming, boiling, or deep frying. Two sturdy welded loop handles keep the wok secure without interior rivets that could trap food or grease.
