The American Metalcraft 2242 is a deluxe all-wood pizza peel featuring a generous 22 x 36 poplar wood blade designed to handle large flatbreads, artisanal loaves, sandwiches, grinders, and stromboli with ease. Its tapered blade design gently slides beneath delicate dough without disrupting its structure, making transfers in and out of high-heat ovens smooth and reliable. At 42 in overall length with a 6 1/2 handle, the peel provides comfortable reach into deep deck ovens while maintaining a firm, controlled grip. The durable poplar wood construction outlasts softer pine alternatives and lends an authentic, rustic aesthetic that doubles as a cutting and serving surface. Made in a NAFTA member country, this peel is a trusted staple for pizzerias, bakeries, and professional kitchen environments.
