The American Metalcraft 1842 is a deluxe all-poplar wood pizza peel engineered for high-volume pizzerias, bakeries, and restaurant kitchens that demand both performance and presentation. Its generous 18 x 36 blade is sized for extra-large pizzas, flatbreads, artisan loaves, and sandwiches, and the thin leading edge glides smoothly under raw dough without tearing or distorting its structure. At 42 overall length, the integrated handle keeps hands safely distanced from hot oven interiors while still providing a secure, comfortable grip. Beyond loading and unloading, the solid wood construction doubles as a rustic cutting and serving board, reducing the number of steps between oven and table. Made in a NAFTA member country and hand-wash only, this peel is built to deliver lasting, authentic service.
