The CDN THD2FE is a digital infrared non-contact forehead thermometer built for fast, hygienic temperature screening in restaurants, food service facilities, and institutional environments. Dual operating modes cover forehead temperatures from 93.2 to 108F and surface temperatures from -7.6 to 176F, providing versatility well beyond basic personnel screening. Results are delivered in as little as 1 second at a measurement distance of up to 1.5 inches, eliminating physical contact entirely. A blue backlit LCD display and single-button operation make it practical for high-volume use, while built-in memory stores the last 25 readings for tracking and verification. Two AAA batteries are included and rated for up to 3,000 continuous readings with a battery status indicator to prevent unexpected downtime.
