The Lodge U5WP is a 7 3/4 square wood underliner built to shield countertops and tabletops from the intense heat of cast iron cookware while adding a refined, rustic presentation element to any dining room. Constructed from 3/4 thick cold forest hardwood with an authentic walnut stain, it is computer routed to precisely cradle the Lodge L5WS3 square cast iron server, keeping it stable during transport from kitchen to table. A water-resistant oil finish guards the surface against moisture and wear, preserving the natural coloring through regular restaurant use. Made in the USA, this underliner is a practical and attractive companion for cast iron sizzle service of dips, appetizers, and signature entrees.
