The Mercer Culinary M15934 Premium Honing Oil is a 16 fl. oz. lubricant engineered to maximize the performance and longevity of oil sharpening stones in professional kitchen environments. Formulated specifically for use with oil stones, it reduces friction during sharpening and prevents metal particle buildup that can degrade both stone surfaces and knife edges over time. It maintains its friction-reducing qualities longer than water, meaning fewer applications and less downtime in a busy prep kitchen. Designed as a direct companion to the M15930 3-Way Sharpening System, it is also FDA approved for direct or indirect food contact, making it a safe and dependable choice for commercial foodservice operations.
