The Norpro 627 Smart Universal Lid is a patented, multi-fit solution designed to replace an entire drawer of mismatched lids. Its nonstick patented valve mechanism twists open to intelligently release steam and prevent boil-over of water, milk, and soups, then turns to the OFF position to function as a standard lid. Built from high-quality stainless steel with a tempered glass insert, it allows cooks to monitor contents at a glance without lifting the lid. The stepped stainless rim fits a wide range of round pots and pans from 9.5 to 12.25 (24cm to 31cm), making it ideal for pasta, eggs, vegetables, potatoes, and more. Heat-resistant silicone components withstand temperatures up to 465F, and the lid is easy to clean and store.
