The Town 34714 is a 14 hand-hammered Cantonese wok built from 18-gauge cold-forged carbon steel, delivering the rugged durability and fast, even heat response that demanding commercial kitchens require. Its classic wide bowl with steep sides promotes rapid heat distribution across all cooking surfaces, making it equally effective for stir-frying, steaming, boiling, deep frying, and stewing. Two securely riveted handles provide a stable grip during high-volume service, while a pre-treatment of food-safe oil guards against rust right out of the box. Sized to drop into a standard 13 wok range chamber, it can also be paired with a separately sold wok ring for use on a conventional burner.
