The Town Equipment 34642 is a heavy-duty aluminum water pan engineered specifically for stove-top bamboo steaming in professional kitchens. Its 13 3/4 top diameter features a wide rim with an integrated recession that securely seats a 12 bamboo steamer, eliminating wobble during service. Standing 5 1/4 tall with 4 of depth below the steamer, the pan holds a generous volume of water to maintain steady, consistent steam throughout cook periods. Aluminum construction ensures rapid heat transfer and the durability needed to handle the demands of high-volume dim sum and Asian cuisine operations. A purpose-built alternative to woks or standard pots, this pan streamlines bamboo steamer setups for cleaner, more efficient results.
